Daily Reflections For Highly Effective Teens

Moving is A LOT of work. When I think about moving I think about packing boxes, loading boxes, unloading boxes, unpacking boxes, and lot of cleaning. For me, moving also mean going through things and getting organized.

As I was unpacking my many boxes of books (yeah, I kind of love to read), I pulled out a few books that I hadn't read before. One of the books I pulled out was Daily Reflections for Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey-- yes, I know it says it's for teens. When I pulled this book out I thought to myself, "This is great, I can read a motivating thought every day when I need a break from cleaning!"

My plan to read one thought each day started out great! However, I quickly learned that when I took a break from cleaning to read my uplifting thought for the day that I didn't want to stop with just that one thought, I longed to read more. You see, I had previously listened to 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey and this book is very much along the same lines it is just a lot shorter and a little easier to understand. Before I knew it I found myself reading a section a day that being said I finished the book in about a week.

If your looking for a quick, easy, motivating, and thought provoking book to read I suggest reading Daily Reflections for Highly Effective Teens.

* 7 books down for the year, 5 to go.
